After outrunning the decision for March 2013, the European Commission diplomatic sources say that Romania's Schengen entry cannot take place earlier than next autumn.
The CVM report on Justice, which could impose new barriers for Romania and Bulgaria will be discussed Thursday during the Justice and Home Affairs Council in Brussels.
The report notes that the European Commission experts will continue monitoring Romania and Bulgaria borders without specifying any deadlines.
The topic of the Schengen accession of the two countries is not on the agenda of the Council scheduled on the 6 to 7 December in Brussels.
