The German group Daimler, owner of Mercedes-Benz Cars, will invest 300 million Euros in Romania
The German group Daimler will invest over 300 million euros in Romania, thus expanding the production of gearboxes for Mercedes-Benz,  to the local subsidiary Star Transmission in Sebes, Alba county. Daimler, owner of Mercedes-Benz Cars, will expand  the  production capacity of  Star Transmission, as the factory in Stuttgart  is already operating at full capacity, Mediafx reports.

The proceedings  to expand its production capacity of auto parts for Mercedes-Benz Cars were approved Wednesday by the company's Supervisory Board.

The company will invest over 280 million Euros in Romania for the manufacturing of   the new generation of automatic gearboxes. The overall  investments planned exceed 300 million Euros.
