Europe law enforcement authorities and Europol have launched Friday the website www.eumostwanted.eu, which helps to detect the most wanted criminals in Europe, the Romanian Police General Inspectorate (IGPR) announces. Romania features on this portal with two wanted criminals: Gregorian Bivolaru, on whose name there is a warrant to serve six years in prison for sexual intercourse with a minor, and Robert Gîrleanu, of Romanian and Moldovan citizenship, who is wanted for murder and must be put in prison for life.
The website has an application that allows all citizens to provide useful information and is launched by the European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST) - a network of police officers from 28 member states of the European Union specializing in locating and catching the international wanted criminals with EUROPOL support.

Information about leading international wanted criminals, both convicted and suspected of having committed serious crimes or acts of terrorism in Europe, will be provided.

"Following the safety increasing measures in the Community, this is the first pan-European initiative to draw up a list of the most wanted on a common platform. (...) Available in 17 European languages, the site content will be managed by ENFAST teams in each Member State, and administrators will insert information about the most wanted criminals internationally at the request of that country, which will directly receive any track on their detection ", IGPR states.

Each country will post a small number of individuals tracked, which will be continuously adjusted based on priorities.
