On the other hand, Rosia Montana Cultural Foundation Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ioan Piso, argues that this exploitation would not be beneficial to Romania, it would not be of national interest.
"From the information I got from the professionals in the business, the only secure thing is either a 2%, 4% or 6% fee, because it is recorded in the permit " Piso said.
"In conclusion, Romania has nothing to benefit from this project", said Prof. Dr. Ioan Piso.

Deputy Remus Cernea, one of the leading challengers of the RMP project claims that this would have a devastating impact on the environment.
In terms of job creation, Cernea argues that we could create 50 jobs deforesting Romania.
