Obama a fost invitatul special al lui Bear Grylls într-un episod al emisiunii sale despre tehnici de supravieţuire în sălbăticie, "Running Wild With Bear Grylls".
Fotografiile făcute de cei doi au fost postate pe pagina de Instagram a Casei Albe.
Preşedintele SUA a profitat de acest prilej pentru a vorbi lumii despre efectele schimbărilor climatice.

Resurrection Bay is one of those places that reminds you of all the beauty this country has to offer. It's home to whales (I got to see one!), sea lions, and dozens of other species. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and alpine glaciers, this is a place that's worth protecting. -bo
