During their meeting at Cotroceni Palace, King Charles III asked Klaus Iohannis to make SRI chief Eduard Hellvig's acquaintance, official sources stated.

In the past years, while acting as Royal patron of Intelligence Agencies, the then-Prince Charles thanked Hellvig for the great cooperation between SRI and British Intelligence.

The British ruler also thanked SRI's chief for the security cooperation regarding issues related to the war in Ukraine.

Eduard Hellvig has established tight relations with heads of British Intelligence from the moment he became SRI director
